MANCHESTER, – Manchester United (MU) has reportedly reached an agreement with AS Monaco for the transfer of Radamel Falcao. According to the BBC, the Colombian striker will status as a player on loan for a season.
“Manchester United have agreed to recruit Colombian striker Radamel Falcao who borrowed from Monaco. Deal will now depend on the player’s medical test results,” writes the BBC.
Falcao a warm conversation towards the close of the transfer window this summer. Initially he entered the list of players target of a number of European clubs, such as Real Madrid, Arsenal, Chelsea and Juventus.
However, recently a number of Italian media claim that Manchester City and Chelsea are also fighting over Falcao‘s signature. 28-year-old player was finally choose MU and reported will soon undergo a medical at Old Trafford.
If the news is true, Falcao will be the sixth player brought in MU this season. Earlier, United had to pick Luke Shaw (Southampton), Ander Herrera (Ahtletic Bilbao), Marcos Rojo (Sporting CP), Angel di Maria (Real Madrid), and Daley Blind (Ajax Amsterdam).
AS Monaco bought Falcao of Atletico Madrid in July 2013 and still has a contract until June 2018.
