Udine – Antonio Di Natale of Udinese will not be in uniform again next season. After more than a decade of strengthening Zebrette, Di Natale will leave.
Di Natale had planned to retire at the end of the 2013/2014 season, but then canceled. He is willing to play for Udinese another season.
Di Natale will actually parted with Udinese at the end of this season. However, the 37-year-old striker has not revealed what he will do after going from Friuli.
“I’m not going to renew my contract (with Udinese) in June,” said Di Natale was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“I will leave Udine,” he said.
Di Natale mentioned will toward the United States after leaving Udinese. MLS side New York Red Bulls are reportedly interested in Di Natale, while the New York Cosmos who competed in the NASL (level under MLS) reportedly ready to pay 8 million euros for two seasons.
Di Natale of Udinese defended since 2004. He packed a total of 219 goals in 405 matches.
