London – Facing Reading in the FA Cup semi-final this weekend, Arsenal eyeing start slick. The Gunners want to take the initiative and a direct hit from the start.
Reading will be a test of Arsenal in the FA Cup final mission this season. Both will play at Wembley on Saturday (18/04/2015) night tomorrow.
Although the opponent only team from the Championship, Arsenal sure the game will run heavy. Start slick targeted in order to undergo the game comfortably.
“You know the FA Cup, you do not know what will happen in this tournament. Any team ready for this tournament and it is always a hard game at any stage,” said the Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin on the official club website.
“Semi-final at Wembley would be more severe. We need to be ready and start to take the initiative. We wish we could do it and win the game,” he added.
Coquelin himself had felt the difficulty faced while still in uniform Reading Charlton Athletic late last year. The 23 years that it had loaned to Charlton and play in the Championship.
“I remember a hard game against them. We won 1-0 but to be honest I do not feel we really deserve it,” he said.
“They give us great pressure kepda, had (Pavel) Pogrebnyak before that so a big threat, and in the wings they also have good players.”
“We knew this would be a hard game. It is a semi-final and a league where you play it does not matter,” said he.
