Spurs Burnley Detained Without Goals

Burnley – Tottenham Hotspur had to be satisfied with the achievement of the points from the away game against Burnley. The Lilywhites not able to score throughout the game and bring home a 0-0 result.

Been to Turf Moor on Sunday (05/04/2015), the Spurs have not been substantiated by the main goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, who was injured. Lloris in goal position filled by Michel Vorm.

Spurs goal under threat when the game was five minutes. But, shot Danny Ings leads right to catch Vorm.

Spurs also have a chance to take the lead in the 15th minute through Nacer Chadli action. However, Chadli kick can be anticipated by Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton.

In the final minutes of the first half, Spurs goalkeeper Vorm saved back. He dispelled Ings shot from outside the box.

Burnley had the best chance to break the deadlock in injury time. Bad luck for them, George Boyd’s header off the mark.

A draw is not beneficial for both teams. Spurs indeed climbed to sixth with 54 points from 31 matches, but they left behind seven points from Manchester City who are in the fourth position. The Burnley remain in 18th position with 26 points.
