London – Performance impressive Eden Hazard at Chelsea this season spawned other awards. The mercurial midfielder was also named as the best player of the 2015 version of the FWA (Journalists Association Football).
Hazard already packed a total of 20 goals and 12 assists in all competitions so far. He became one of the key players for the success of the Blues win the Premier League championship trophy first since 2009-10.
Guardian reported, this Belgian football star won 53 percent of votes in the voting conducted by more than 300 journalists. Hazard beat Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur) and teammate John Terry in the next sequence.
This title completes Hazard individual awards obtained after the end of April last managed to steal the trophy Player of the Year version of PFA (Professional Footballers Association) and best young player award PFA previous season.
The award will be officially awarded to 24-year-old footballer in a gala dinner in London on 21 May.
“The list of existing world-class players in the roll of honor FWA very long and Eden Hazard is an additional viable,” said FWA chairman Andy Dunn. “A creator, a scorer, and the hardest worker, Hazard has so far become a source of threat constant from the current Premier League champions. ”
Chelsea squad seems to dominate the list of top 10 best players FWA as the entry of Cesc Fabregas, Branislav Ivanovic, and Thibaut Courtois. As for the other players who got the vote was Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal), David de Gea (Manchester United), Sergio Aguero (Manchester City), and Esteban Cambiasso (Leicester City).
