Milan – Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini, predicting the game against Lazio will run very open. Mancini also said his team will continue to strive to pursue a ticket to European competition.
Inter forces will collide with Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico on Monday (05/11/2015) pm dawn. Both teams are both aiming for three points despite having a different mission. The Nerazzurri were trying to get a ticket to the Europa League, while the Biancocelesti want to finish second.
“I think both teams will be very motivated, even though they did not pursue a position in Europe,” Mancini said as quoted by Football Italia.
“The match between Inter and Lazio have always walked entertaining. We are fighting for the Europa League, while Lazio in the Champions League and second place,” he added.
“I predict this will be a very open game with many scoring chances for both teams,” said Mancini.
Inter currently occupies eighth place in Serie A with 49 points, three points adrift of Fiorentina who are in fifth position. As for Lazio occupy the third position with 63 points, one point ahead of AS Roma is on it.
“We will do everything to qualify because there are several teams competing and only disputing some points. If we do not qualify, then Inter will still be a big club and we will continue to pursue a position in the top flight next season,” said Mancini.
“The team is improving and I think positive in undergoing the last four games. We are building a team that can qualify for the Champions League and compete for the title. But, it’s natural that it will take time,” he said.
