London – Chelsea believed would never want to take off Petr Cech to Arsenal or any other English club. French club Paris Saint-Germain was advised immediately approached Cech.
Cech allegedly will leave Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window next after the loss of a place as a regular goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
At the same time Arsenal also was trying to find a new goalkeeper after main goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is shifted by David Ospina in January.
Ospina so far has not shown himself worthy collateral so the mainstay in goal and the Gunners are believed to be aiming for Cech.
However, Ray Wilkins, who played for Chelsea and also had time to become an assistant coach at the club call attempt Arsenal will face a deadlock.
“If you examine the actions of Chelsea in recent years, with players like Didier Drogba, Nicolas Anelka and Salomon Kalou, all of which are sold outside the UK so they could not hurt Chelsea in the Premier League, Jose Mourinho would do the same thing with Petr Cech,” he told talkSPORT.
In connection with this, Wilkins also stated that this was a good chance for PSG. “I do not know why Paris Saint-Germain have not made a bid for Salvatore Sirigu, Italy goalkeeper them, not good enough.”
